Our Tube Bending section contains five computer-controlled machines (all with multi-stack tooling)directly linked to a Coordinate Measuring Machine with specialist pipe software installed. In practice this allows a master pipe or fixture to be measured on the CMM and then directly loaded to the relevant machine. This simplifies the set up procedure and eliminates human error. The result is that new pipes are manufactured from scratch in the shortest most accurate way possible with minimal scrap and increased yield percentages.
